akin to greatness.
Is there any way we can convince you to change your vote?

We really are sheep!

You don't gotta tell me that. Musashi's the one who made me change my vote!

I didn't make you do anything.

But why us? Why not Axel's team or Byakko's?

We didn't have the time to think about the clues or discuss anything. Your team's name stuck out on the poll, so we clicked on that for the moment.

Did you vote?
[info]paopuprincess wrote:

Yeah, we did.

Akaba thought it best to vote for Byakko's team so I put it there. I don't really want to vote for either of them, but Axel's team seems more honest to me.

I agree with Kairi-san. For the same reasons I gave Axel in the main post, the fact that Hips Don't Lie has been more vocal than the other team makes me think they're sheep. And since we're also sheep, process of elimination would make These Little Earthquakes the wolf.

Mm, they were pretty helpful as well in the first round, too.

I guess I should apologize for the random vote.

Damn right you should.

This kind of game has a lot of uncertainties and constantly changing variable. No one blames you.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:

Was that you that changed your vote?

Thank you, Dee!
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:03 pm (UTC)
Yeah. Y'know I wouldn't vote on ya without a reason, Kairi.

Just gotta figure out a way t' explain it now without makin' ourselves look like dumbasses.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:05 pm (UTC)
Oh, well it looks like the threads are frozen now. I guess you can explain in the ousting vote if you wanted to.
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:05 pm (UTC)
I probably should, since Haruhi noticed. I was replyin' when the threads froze.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:06 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I just noticed that.
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:

I'll understand this game sooner or later. Really.
[info]official_rapist wrote:

One has to practice if they want to feel the rhythm pulsing throughout the game.
[info]restarttheclock wrote:

Mm, true. We're getting the hang of it, at least.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:

--hey, wait a sec!

Did you vote for Byakko's team, Dee?
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:13 pm (UTC)
...If he did, then someone switched their vote from These Little Earthquakes to Hips Don't Lie.
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:14 pm (UTC)
Yeah. Like Musashi' said, Axel's team's been pretty helpful an' pretty active.

An' I trust you, so we went with the team that was left over.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:18 pm (UTC)
So it stands to reason that Hips Don't Lie has become a threat. Whether it's a wolf voting for them, or a sheep thinking they're a wolf.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:22 pm (UTC)
But with the way the votes ended up, Axel's team thinks Dee switched his vote from us to them, right?
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:24 pm (UTC)
Correct.

If Laytner-san or Musashi explain why they switched their vote to Hips Don't Lie in the ousting post, we might be able to draw out whoever changed their vote.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:27 pm (UTC)
But they didn't--

... Oh! I see what you're saying. You think if Dee says that they voted for Axel, the other team who switched will know that he's lying.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:39 pm (UTC)
Precisely. As Fujioka-san just explained this in the ousting post, Laytner-san could say that he switched from These Little Earthquakes to Hips Don't Lie at the last second because of some reason or suspicion. We could leave that explanation up to him, of course.

Either way, the team that switched will know he's lying. If the team that switched was a wolf, they'll think that Laytner-san is suspicious. There is the chance that he'll be eaten after this.
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:41 pm (UTC)
I think they already think I'm suspicious, but I get what you're sayin'.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:44 pm (UTC)
Yeah, both wolves and the sheep think that now, but they're thinking that it was two separate teams that switched. We could make them think that you changed your vote twice because you suspect Hips over Earthquakes.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:46 pm (UTC)
Sorry to put pressure on you, Dee!
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:52 pm (UTC)
Hey, don't worry 'bout it. I brought it on myself, after all.
[info]restarttheclock wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:52 pm (UTC)
We'll come up with something. Either way, I have a feeling we may be the ones getting eaten after this round.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:54 pm (UTC)
Oh, hey! Doctor Umeda just voted for Byakko's team.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:57 pm (UTC)
...

Good. We can use this.

Laytner-san, if you wouldn't mind acting stressed and confused with the suspicion voting, we can say both switches were you. Still essentially the same plan, just slightly different outcome with the vote landing on Earthquakes.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 10:58 pm (UTC)
Wow, you're pretty good at this kind of thing, Akaba.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 11:00 pm (UTC)
It's similar to Run Force. Making the opponent think they're in the clear.
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 11:05 pm (UTC)
I wouldn't mind at all.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 11:09 pm (UTC)
It looks like Axel's team took it at face value. Nice reply, Dee!
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 11:10 pm (UTC)
Thankfully. I think it helps some that he knows it's our first time playin'. Heh, thanks.
[info]official_rapist wrote:
May. 3rd, 2007 11:25 pm (UTC)
...Laytner-san, would you mind if I opened this post to someone else?
[info]cock_my_gun wrote:

Go for it.
[info]paopuprincess wrote:
